The Estate We’re In – What is Tree Shepherd doing?

TimonDixon1Following on from the Evening Standard’s coverage of Angell Town and the urgent need to invest and regenerate this “lost community”, Tree Shepherd is proud to announce that we will be providing business start-up training for up to 25 people from January 2016.

Angell Town residents will be prioritised, however we welcome interest from neighbouring communities and those with close ties to the Angell Town estate. People of any age can apply and all types of business or social enterprise ideas are encouraged.

The course will provide candidates with everything they need to put a business plan together, plus close one-to-one enterprise nurturing and networking opportunities. The course will run for 8 x weeks on Thursdays starting Thursday 14th January 10am – 4pm and the venue will be announced shortly.

The support also includes £500 start-up grants for up to five candidates who will be chosen through a Dragon’s Den style selection process.

To apply to be on the programme, please call 020 3697 1541 or email: monique@treeshepherd.org.uk.
