New funding available from Forest Foundation

Forest Foundation LogoThe Forest Foundation is a new and independent charity which aims to alleviate poverty through successful and sustainable self-employment.

The charity offers a small financial grant for the purchase of basic start-up materials or services.

We work with supportive enterprise networks that actively provide specialist business advice, training and mentoring to individuals who are starting up.

We don’t fund members of the public directly, but welcome applications through nurture organisations who support individuals into self-employment.

The decision to award a grant lies with a panel comprising two members of the enterprise network, a trustee of the foundation, a local councillor and/or a member of an independent funding organisation.

Our pilot programme launched on the 28th of January 2015. Tree Shepherd will be administering the grant on our behalf.

Please read the criteria for selection before applying. Online application forms and selection criteria are available from Tree Shepherd. See below for appropriate links.
