The popular Start Your Own Enterprise course will begin again on September 10th at High Trees .

This is an eight week course that is ideal for Lambeth residents who need the tools and confidence to set up and run their own business.

The course is delivered in an enjoyable, inclusive and fully supportive way to ensure that everybody gets the most from the experience.

Learners are encouraged to interact and take advantage of the Forest Enterprise Network that is on offer when they complete.

On studying the course you will have the core skills to be able to:

  • define the key elements of your business model
  • determine how you will earn money
  • know how to price, sell and manage your customers
  • understand your market
  • develop presentation skills
  • know how to manage people and partners
  • manage money and raise finance
  • understand legal structures for registering your business
  • complete a business plan

The course will be on Tuesdays, 10am – 4pm and it is important to commit to the full course. For people who are not in work, the course is free of charge.
