Mental health during lockdown: New workshop

It’s no news that we are all feeling the strain after months of grappling with COVID. The lockdowns, the restrictions on seeing families and friends, the uncertainty, the questioning of our every move – “have we sanitised”, “was he wearing a mask”, “what does the future hold”? As much as we have our best intentions to use every lockdown and restricted evening to sort out the cupboard / our finances / job hunt / do something practical, the tiredness and frustration of months of negotiating all these decisions and worries takes a toll.

For business owners, freelancers, sole traders, it’s compounded by the worries of making everyday business decisions in a time which couldn’t be more confusing and worrisome.

At Thrive, in Surrey Quays, two wonderful counsellors and therapists, Sonia and Millie, run sessions with clients to help them through incredibly difficult times, and we are delighted that they have agreed to run a course with us at Tree Shepherd on Zoom to look at ways to tackle mental health issues in COVID.

We will be hosting this over Zoom and would love as many people as possible to attend. Please register by emailing or calling us on or calling 020 3948 3020.  You can see more about Repercia on the Tree Shepherd profile here  or by contacting Sonia and Millie directly on 07932 385 101

We hope to see as many of you as possible on the call. Millie and Sonia will talk through practical tips to get through this incredibly challenging time.

Please remember if you’re going through a tough time, you’re not on your own. Speak to your GP or seek help from the Samaritans  or phone number 116 123 who can help – no issue is too small or big.

Stay well and safe everyone!
