Help for self-employed – new HOPE project launched

Are you self-employed? Has COVID hit your business hard? We know that roughly 3m people have been left with no financial assistance from the Government, because of falling through the gaps – either they haven’t been self-employed long enough, their business is less than 50% of their yearly income, or some other restriction has left them out in the dark. And for those who have received help from the Government, times have never been harder. A total lockdown in jobs, opportunities, with thousands of businesses going under. Whether it’s window-fitters unable to get into people’s houses, masseurs not allowed to touch their clients, cafe owners coping with months of locked doors, there are more challenges than we could ever have imagined.

We also know the mental load is tough – the constant stress, uncertainty and worry about where the next client is coming from.

To try and help some of our local neighbours who is self-employed, we are launching HOPE – a project offering a mix of workshops, courses, clinics and activities to help anyone with a business or working for themselves to get back on their feet. We’ve teamed up with Lambeth Council to fund this and we really want to hear from you.

We are offering a series of clinics, workshops and activities for anyone who is struggling since COVID. First up, please get in touch to sign up for to one of our free 1-1 sessions with a business mentor so we can hear more about how to help you.
