Future Business Event 16th Sept: Colin speaks to Plymouth Social Enterprise Network

Tuesday 16th September, Colin will be addressing audiences in Plymouth on the potential for social enterprise to influence policy and change lives. He will draw first on his experience as founder and CEO of Greenworks – a furniture recycling company that employed people across London who were furthest from the jobs market, including ex-offenders and homeless. He will also be talking about his pioneering work at Tree Shepherd, supporting social enterprise development in some of the UK’s most marginalised communities.

Update 19th September:

The event was a huge success for the Plymouth audience. See the following quotes:

“Colin Crooks was a great speaker and the whole event was really enjoyable. I am starting to get very interested in social enterprise for all sorts of reasons”

“A really inspirational event. Looking forward to the next one.”

“I’d like to thank Colin for taking the time out to travel to Plymouth and share his experience and insights with us.”
