Tree Shepherd is helping Lambeth Council recruit trading concessions for parks and open spaces.

Traditionally such trading might involve an icecream van – but we want to see if this can be opened up to all kinds of trade – food and non-food.

Analysis suggests the following sites may be suitable for concessions:

– Spring Gardens / Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens (just inside Kennington Lane entrance by  Vauxhall Tavern)
– Larkhall Park: Just inside Wandsworth Road entrance
– Windrush Square: near Effra Road / Saltoun Road Junction
– Emma Cons Gardens: on the periphery of The Cut boundary
– Clapham Common: knoll behind Clapham Common underground station

Industries to be explored will include:
– Food / Catering
– Beverages / Drinks
– Gardening / Flowers
– Park Activity / Community Groups
– Bike Services
– Retail (various)
– Other

Types of concessions to be considered include:
– Van with serving hatch
– Wheeled unit
– Temporary Structure
– Gazebo
– Marquee
– Stall
– Other
